Sizing Information
The distributor for these boots offers the size conversion chart listed below. The box has another size conversion chart printed on the box that indicates the boots run one size larger than is indicated here, but we find the chart below to be more accurate (so disregard the chart on the side of the box—we didn’t overlook/misinterpret it). When I personally tried the boots on, I found them to be about right for length and they were a bit “roomy” through the instep, so for those with “normal” width feet, I’d suggest choosing the smaller size if you are between two sizes. Overall width of the boots is D or E.

Our Two Cents
The US distributor for Hein Gericke ceased operations late last year and they are unloading their remaining inventory. Hein Gericke is a “sister” brand of FirstGear and we’ve carried their products over the years and find them to be high quality (just like FirstGear). These boots are a very simple, heavy duty engineer style boot. They feature thick sturdy leather construction with a VERY sturdy sole and heel. While the boots don’t have any specific features for motorcycling, this style of boot is very popular for those into cruiser riding, and since they were such a great deal, we bought all the remaining inventory. Please use the drop down menu above to view what inventory is left.
