Sizing Information:
The fit of these jackets is similar to other brands of leather sport jackets. You want to choose a jacket that is big enough for your actual chest measurement. And you want to make sure the size will be big enough for your belly (if you have one). The max belly for any size jacket is approximately 6” less than the jacket size (example: max belly for a 46 is a 40” belly).
I really like the look and feel of this jacket… especially the Black/Gun/Grey color. The leather used in this style is much like the leather in Joe Rocket race suits. It’s thick, but soft, and with the large fabric panels in the underarm area and the stretch leather behind the shoulders, this is an extremely comfortable jacket to wear. It will be best for mild to hot weather due to the fabric panels and the perforated leather used on the torso and arms. The lining is a nylon mesh and the jacket doesn’t come with a removable thermal liner, so for winter time use, you’ll have to layer underneath. The jacket comes with CE “turtle shell” armor (also comfortable) and a foam spine pad. You can upgrade to a CE type back protector (see below). If you are looking for pants, I’d suggest the Joe Rocket Speedmaster or Blaster pants in either solid leather or perforated leather. These will mate with the full circumference zipper in the jacket which essentially offers a two piece suit. Or if you want to use the jacket for everyday street riding, you could zip them to any of Joe Rocket’s textile pants since the jacket comes equipped with a short rear zipper as well.
