Sizing Information
These gloves are consistent with the major brands we’ve carried—Teknic, Joe Rocket, Olympia, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If anything, they run a bit on the snug side so if you are sometimes between sizes, I’d advise you to choose the larger of the two sizes. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Our Two Cents
The Octane S-Moto gloves are really neat looking. I like the angled cut at the wrist and the cool looking molded ram air knuckle protectors. Unfortunately the ram air part is all show and non-functional since the place where the air ducts exhaust is not on the inside of the glove but rather they are over the leather layer that covers the knuckles. The leather is soft and comfortable and the gloves are well made. One other little nit to pick: the molded rubber piece on the outside of the thumb was noticeable when wearing the glove. Either the glove would break in to feel better or that would drive a person crazy after a while. This style would be one of those I’d advise folks to only buy if they’d tried them on before in a store (or tried a friend’s pair) and could be confident they liked the style first hand (pardon the pun).
