Sizing Information
The jackets are offered in women’s European sizes, so you’ll need to select the size using Alpinestars sizing chart to find your corresponding size. This jacket offers women’s specific tailoring; in addition the adjustable waist also aids in getting a good fit.
Our Two Cents
The Stella TX-1 will appeal to the sport bike enthusiast. It offers about all the safety and protection features you’d want for some serious riding. The CE armor in the the elbows and shoulders along with a soft foam back pad provides impact protection and the race quality leather gives the abrasion protection. Alpinestars offers a CE approved back protector upgrade too (see the link below). The jacket is cut in a sport bike style, but one feature that really contributes to the comfort of the jacket is the stretch Kevlar panels. Placed on the under side of the sleeves, these panels provide ease in arm movements. Climate control consists of zippered vents in the shoulder area and for colder weather you can zip-in the removable thermal vest for warmth. You get a full circumference zipper for connection to Alpinestars’ sport pants to make a great 2pc suit…something that is sometimes hard to find for ladies.
