Sizing Information

You can consult sizing information from FirstGear to choose a size based upon your height and weight and also considering the sizes you normally wear in men’s clothing.

Our Two Cents

The Honcho provides the traditional “Marlon Brando” type styling in a jacket that has great safety, comfort and convenience features. For example, this jacket has all the climate control options you’ll find in nearly any sport style jacket. There are chest and bicep vents along with large rear exhaust vents (to minimize “ballooning” of the jacket). Also, there is a strip of perforated leather used in the inside of the arm which is about 1 1/2” wide. But when things turn cool, you can use the removable, full sleeve liner. This liner has generous insulation and should do a good job in winter weather. The collar of the jacket is constructed so that you can turn up the lapels to cover the neck area. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above and you’ll find a great set of close-up photos that show all these features in detail. Many cruiser riders prefer not to wear armor in their jackets, but of course I’d recommend it for safety. This jacket has pockets in the shoulders and elbows which will accommodate FirstGear’s Core-Comp armor and it has a pocket in back for a Temperfoam spine pad. If you are interested in the optional armor, please take the links below. You’ll need two pair of the Core-Comp armor and one back pad to fully outfit this jacket with crash protection. Overall I like this jacket because it gives the style that street and cruiser riders want, but provides real-world functionality and safety which everybody needs.
