Sizing Information
The sizing on this jacket is comparable to other “alpha” sized jackets and is also in line with men’s clothing sizes, so choose the size you normally wear in jackets and shirts. If you want to double check sizing using a tape measure, refer to the chart below. Tall sizes are 1 1/2 to 2 inches longer in both body length and sleeve length. If you normally buy tall sizes in men’s clothing, these should work better for you.

Medium | 38-40 | 36 | 33 |
Large | 42-44 | 40 | 34 |

XXL | 46-48 | 44 | 36 |
XXXL | 48-50 | 46 | 37 |
Our Two Cents
The Commander jacket is a fully featured textile touring jacket that includes a host of features for protection, climate control and storage. I live in a desert, so I can’t speak first hand about how this jacket might perform in adverse weather conditions, but if I were picking a jacket for a fall/spring long distance ride with cooler weather and/or rain, this would probably be my first choice. This jacket is made of durable nylon with reinforced Cordura panels for abrasion resistance. For use in cold and/or wet weather, the jacket includes two removable liners. The first is a waterproof full sleeve liner to keep out any rain that might get through the outer shell. This liner will also insulate to some degree, but for really cold weather, there is another thermal liner that zips into the waterproof liner. One unique feature of this jacket is the removable storm collar. For really cold weather, this thing will be welcome. Be sure to view our close-up picture to see what I mean. When the weather heats up, you can remove the thermal liner, the waterproof liner and the storm collar, then unzip your water-resistant vents to admit some outside air. Long distance riders and commuters will appreciate the storage this jacket has to offer. You’ll find four large pockets for storage in the front plus two slim pockets for easy i.d. access. Plus you get a large storage pocket in the back and the vent in the back doubles as a mesh pocket for a hydration pack that will hold up to a 70-ounce bladder. For protection, this jacket is fitted with removable CE armor in the shoulders and elbows along with a removable back pad. This jacket is also a good choice for tourers who do a good amount of riding at night. There are reflective logos and reflective paneling for increased visibility, but if that is not enough visibility for your liking, then you should check out the Black/Neon Yellow version of this jacket! The jacket includes a short rear zipper for attachment to compatible Scorpion pants (see below). There is a lot going on with this jacket, so be sure to take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see a nice photo spread of all its features..

Quick processing and very fast shipping! Only comment would be the box was almost in shambles upon delivery, however it was a motorcycle jacket, so that's OK. Thanks for the jacket!
